As a twenty year old lead singer of the group The Imperials Wayne Bartlett came to fame first in the United States, but his artistic path should first lead in a completely different direction. When he his record Kind of a Beach (Warner Bros. Reprise) was promoting in the 60s, he got more and more exposure as an actor. In the 70s, Wayne Bartlett began taking an interest in Europe, followed by several tours and eventually working with Tyree Glenn Jr., uva Super Session 1995 Thomas Hufschmidt produced in collaboration with the WDR, the first CD by Wayne Bartlett: Senor Blues. The other musicians in the CD production are: Jens Foltynowicz (bass), Dirik Schilgen (drums) and Wolfgang Engstfeld (saxophone).
